Baked Mac n Cheese
Here's another recipe I learned from my foods class!
Ingredients: (makes 4 servings)
1 1/2 cup cooked mac noodles
1 cup milk
2 cups grated cheese
4 T butter
salt and pepper to taste
Steps:
Preheat oven to 375. Grease inside 4 ceramic bowls then place 1/4 cup of mac into each bowl. Cut each tablespoon of butter in half, then cut each half in 3rds equaling 6 pieces of butter from each half. Take 3 pieces of butter and place on top of mac that's already in the bowls, and add a round of salt and pepper. Then add a 1/4 cup of cheese to each bowl and repeat steps of mac, butter, seasoning and cheese again. Pour in a 1/4 milk down the side of the bowl, not on top covering the cheese and cover with greased foil. Place on cookie sheet and then in oven for 30 min. Let stand for 3-5 min to cool then eat up!! ;)

DIY Popcorn!
This is my favorite thing to make for a snack! Its healthier than store bought popcorn and its waay cheaper too! And suuuper simple!
The things you'll need are 1) paper bag lunch sac 2) raw popcorn kernals ( just the ones bought in a container at the store) 3) spray butter, salt, or any desired seasoning :D
All you need to do is measure out 1/4 of a cup of the popcorn kernals and pour them into the brown paper sac. Fold the opening down maybe 2 or 3 times and place in the microwave for about 1min and 45 sec. After the popcorn is popped, open and add the spray butter and seasoning ( the seasoning will stick better with the butter) or just eat plain! And thats all!!! Enjoy! :)

Who Knew?
Recently I've discovered some simple quick easy fixes for some irritations you may have.. hope this helps!!!
Baby Powder: Need a quick fix for greasy hair or skin? Add some baby powder to your scalp or face and gently rub in...it will absorb the grease giving a nice smooth look. :)
Petroleum jelly: If you have any chapped skin, this will be your miracle worker! Also if you have a sore nose from too many snuffles, petroleum jelly will help sooth and heal it! Or if you get a bad paper cut? Wipe some jelly or chap stick on it, it will help decrease the "sting". If you need a good makeup remover, this will work for eye lashes and help remove nail polish on your fingers!
Baking Sota: Baking sota is used for alot, but here are my favorites.. :D Dip your toothbrush in some baking sota, and brush away! This will help whiten teeth and rid of sores in your mouth. Baking sota can help sooth any insect bites, stings or poison from plants exposed on your skin as well! (Just add a little water and create and baking sota paste) It can also help a heart burn or a stomach ache. Add 1/2 a teaspoon to a 1/2 cup of water and drink :O it will help ease the pain in minutes :)
Water: Drinking water can actually help alot! Do you get random headaces? You're mostlikely de hydrated meaning you need more water in your system! Want healthier skin? Drink water! Want to loose more weight? Drink water! Want to improve in your health? Drink water! You're technically made of i think 70% of water! So drink up! Your body will love you for it!

Canning Cake! :D
Found this on eHow.com! (and couldnt "pin it" on pinterest because there was no picture!) Enjoy!
Intructions:
- Make your favorite cake batter. Either use a homemade recipe, or mix cake batter straight out of a box.
- Preheat the oven to the cake recipe's recommended baking time.
- Spray the canning jars with nonstick spray. Ensure that the nonstick spray covers the entire inside of the jars to prevent the cake from sticking.
- Pour the cake batter into the jars, but only fill the jars halfway. This is crucial because the cake needs room to expand in the jar while it bakes.
- Bake the cakes in the canning jars for the recommended amount of time. Put the canning jars on a cookie sheet before placing them on an oven rack.
- Check on the cakes early because the baking time may decrease. Insert a toothpick into the center of each cake. Just as if baking any cake, if the toothpick comes out clean, then the cakes are finished baking.
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Place the canning lids in a mixing bowl. Once the water boils, pour the boiling water over the canning lids to sterilize them.
- Remove the canning jar cakes from the oven. Sit the jars on towels or oven mitts to prevent burning your countertop.
- Clean the tops of the cake jars. Remove any baked-on cake batter or cake crumbs from the tops of the jar cakes. This will allow the canning lids to secure properly to the jars.
- Place a lid from the sterilized water bowl onto a canning jar. Use the canning ring and secure the lid to the jar.
- The jars will seal when they begin to cool. You will hear a popping noise, which ensures that they are sealed. Check the sealed jars by pressing on the center of each canning jars' lid. If the lid dents, then the canning jar didn't seal.
- Store the cakes in the refrigerator. Consume the jar cakes within 10 days. If the jars didn't seal properly, consume the cakes within 2 days.
