Banana Blueberry Smoothie

So I love making smoothies, but sometimes it doesn't turn out the way I thought it would taste... But this morning I made an awesome banana blueberry smoothie! And i heard blueberries are awesome source of fiber and can help "cleanse" if you're into that :) If not, it's still real tasty! ok so here's the ingredients :)

4-5 Ice cubes
3-4 handfuls of washed blueberries (can be overripe)
1 small-medium banana (pealed and sliced)
1 6oz banana cream pie Yoplait yogurt

And thats it! Place the ice on bottom for a smoother blend, and blend until a smoothie ;) Enjoy!

DIY Nail Polish Box

So I needed a place to store my nail polish. Online there are many ideas like using shelves or jars to display your nail polish, but i didn't want to display it, just store it. :) So i grabbed a shoe box and decorated it! It doesn't matter what size or style shoe box, just whatever is most convenient for you:) Alright so decorating the box, I used a plastic like wrapping paper for the inside of the box and just regular (but cute) wrapping paper for the outside. I don't have measurements because I just eyeballed it and taped everywhere haha. I figured it just a storage box! But it came out cute:) Comment if you have any questions! Happy Crafting!

DIY Mug Design

So I saw this DIY on Pinterest and I was excited to try it out! So I got out one of my ceramic mugs, sharpies and designed away! I used finger nail polish remover to remove any mistakes I made along the way :) then placed in the oven at 420degrees for 20min and left it there to cool off. And here's the result! Oh and don't run through a dishwasher it will ruin design, just hand wash it :) perfect for a DIY gift for weddings birthdays graduations or anything :)

False Falsies

Every girl wishes for longer eye lashes or a more fuller lash look. But instead of going out and buying falsies to put on, why not DIY and make some false falsies?
Here's how its done. First apply mascara as usually and, while mascara is still wet, cover lashes with baby power (Using a Q-Tip to apply the baby power is an good way of handling it). Then just apply more mascara covering all the white powder and WA-LA! False falsies :)

Baked Mac n Cheese

Here's another recipe I learned from my foods class!

Ingredients: (makes 4 servings)
1 1/2 cup cooked mac noodles
1 cup milk
2 cups grated cheese
4 T butter
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:
Preheat oven to 375. Grease inside 4 ceramic bowls then place 1/4 cup of mac into each bowl. Cut each tablespoon of butter in half, then cut each half in 3rds equaling 6 pieces of butter from each half. Take 3 pieces of butter and place on top of mac that's already in the bowls, and add a round of salt and pepper. Then add a 1/4 cup of cheese to each bowl and repeat steps of mac, butter, seasoning and cheese again. Pour in a 1/4 milk down the side of the bowl, not on top covering the cheese and cover with greased foil. Place on cookie sheet and then in oven for 30 min. Let stand for 3-5 min to cool then eat up!! ;)

Friendship Fairy Biscuits

This recipe I made in my foods class at school..and its sooo good!!! (cheap too!)

Ingredients:
6 biscuits
3T sugar
3T brown sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
2-3T melted butter
1/4cup breakfast icing

Steps:
Preheat oven to 350. Lay raw biscuits out and cut into 4th or halves. Mix all sugars and cinnamon into a medium bag then add several biscuits and shake well to coat in sugar.  Using a cupcake tin, place cupcake paper liners and then place each biscuit into individual cupcake liner. Using a spoon, drizzle melted butter, then any extra sugar on top. Place into oven for about 14 min or until golden. Remove from oven and drizzle icing for final touch, let it cool for 5min. Enjoy!

Icing recipe:
Mix 1/2cup of powdered sugar, 1/4 tsp of vanilla into bowl, and 1-3 tsp of cold water. (depending on when mix becomes as icing).
